This policy describes how tours.naples.it processes the personal data of its visitors, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Italian Privacy Code. It is deliberately short because the site collects very little data.

Data controller

The controller is the operator of this site, who can be contacted at connect@tours.naples.it. No data protection officer has been appointed because the processing does not require one.

What data we process and why

Hosting technical logs. Like every website, the server automatically records the IP address, date and time of the request, page visited, response code, browser and operating system. Legal basis: legitimate interest in ensuring the security and proper functioning of the site. The logs are kept for up to about 30 days and then deleted, unless needed to investigate abuse.

Emails you send us. If you contact us at connect@tours.naples.it we process your address and the content of the message in order to reply. Legal basis: fulfilment of your request. We keep the correspondence for as long as needed to handle it and any follow-up.

Nothing else. The site has no accounts, registrations, forms, comments, newsletter or payment systems. We use no analytics tools that profile the user, no advertising trackers and no social network pixels.

Cookies and partner widgets

The site itself sets no cookies. Some pages embed widgets supplied by GetYourGuide, Tiqets and Headout showing up-to-date products, prices and availability. These widgets are loaded from the partners’ servers; the partners act as independent controllers and may set technical or measurement cookies in accordance with their respective policies, available on their websites. If you prefer to avoid them, you can block third-party cookies in your browser settings: the pages remain readable, though the widgets may not load.

The links to the partner platforms contain an affiliate identifier: it lets the platform attribute any commission to us and passes no personal data to us. From the moment you click, the platform’s policy applies.

Recipients and transfers

The technical logs are processed by the hosting provider acting as data processor. We do not sell or pass on data to third parties. The partners supplying the widgets may process data outside the European Union as well, under the safeguards described in their policies.

Your rights

Under Articles 15–22 of the GDPR you may request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise them write to connect@tours.naples.it: we reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), if you believe the processing breaches the law.

Minors

The site is not aimed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect data relating to them.
